NFL Commissioner Goodell on ESPN Radio This Morning January 15, 2010NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell was a guest on ESPN Radio’s Mike & Mike in the Morning (6-10 a.m. ET M-F) today at 8:43 a.m. ET. Co-hosts Mike Golic and Mike Greenberg questioned Goodell about the effectiveness of the league’s “Rooney Rule,” requiring that minority candidates be interviewed when an NFL head coaching job is open, following Washington’s interviewing secondary coach Jerry Gray prior to hiring Mike Shanahan. The Mikes also asked Goodell if he is looking at ways to ensure teams play their starters at the end of the season, of the reaction to moving the Pro Bowl’s date and location, and about conversations regarding a new collective bargaining agreement with the players.
