In the photo, provided by Ann Beardsley, are, from the left: BARC board of directors member Kevin DellaBianca; Mayor Art Ward; Executive Director Francine M. Pangaro and BARC clients Traci Castolene and Melissa Bailey.
BARC, which is 98 percent funded by the state, has a few items it wants to have that the state won't pay for and locally awarded community development block funds weren't granted for. They include siding, a new roof and a furnace, among other things. They're asking people for donations to cover it and today kicked off the campaign. I wrote about it for The Bristol Press (www.bristolpress.com).
